Sterile saline aerosol. For use in topical irrigation and cleansing of wounds and cavities, also used to remove material from the eyes. Sodium chloride 0.9% is a solution of salt in water at the same concentration as found normally in the body. It is otherwise known as saline. Saline may be used to wash wounds thoroughly, rinse the mouth and remove harmful substances from the eyes. There are no known harmful effects when this product is used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
