Bossklein V-WIPE Classic tubs →

All V-WIPE Classic tubs are now produced using 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. PCR plastic is created from recycled materials that can be collected, reprocessed, and transformed into new packaging — giving plastic a second life and helping to significantly reduce waste. By switching to PCR plastic, each tub prevents 31.5g of new plastic from entering the supply chain compared to the previous version. Additionally, producing recycled plastic requires up to 80% less energy than manufacturing virgin plastic. For every kilogram of recycled plastic used, we prevent up to 2.5kg of CO₂ from being released into the atmosphere.

V-WIPE dispenser tubs are designed for reuse and can be easily refilled multiple times using our economical refill packs. Unlike many single-use, pre-sealed tubs on the market, both V-WIPE Classic and V-WIPE Ultra feature fully refillable containers. Each refill pack uses approximately 85% less plastic than a brand-new dispenser tub, helping to minimise waste and environmental impact. For even greater cost and energy savings, V-WIPE Classic is also available in a convenient kit containing 12 refill packs and 1 dispenser tub — the smart, sustainable choice for everyday use.

V-WIPE ZERO ECO-XL wipes are made from a plastic-free, biodegradable material called viscose — a plant-based, renewable fibre derived from responsibly sourced wood pulp. The wipes feature a 40g/m² apertured 100% viscose fabric that offers excellent strength and absorbency. Unlike synthetic, petroleum-based nonwovens such as polypropylene or polyester, viscose is both renewable and far more sustainable, reducing environmental impact without compromising performance.

Our unique ZERO formulation is featured in all V-WIPE ZERO surface disinfectant wipes, including ECO-XL, as well as in our SDactiv ZERO surface disinfectant sprays. This advanced formula is completely free from alcohol and polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) — a substance classified by the European Union as a Category 2 carcinogen and still commonly found in many alcohol-free competitor products. Instead, the ZERO formulation combines two readily biodegradable quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs) with a plant-based detergent derived from natural resources and a naturally sourced chelating agent, delivering powerful disinfection with a reduced environmental impact.

IDactiv has been carefully formulated to incorporate as many eco-friendly and naturally derived ingredients as possible, helping to minimise its environmental impact. This advanced instrument disinfectant and cleaner features a plant-based chelating agent that effectively binds ions which can interfere with the disinfection process. The formulation is completely free from alcohol and chlorides, both of which can contribute to corrosion. Instead, IDactiv uses biodegradable corrosion inhibitors and detergents, along with naturally occurring amino acids, for powerful cleaning performance that’s safer for both instruments and the environment.

Both Bossklein IDactiv QUANTUM instrument disinfectant powder and IMPactiv P impression disinfectant powder use peracetic acid as their primary active ingredient — delivering powerful cleaning and disinfection performance. Peracetic acid is one of the most environmentally friendly biocides available, as it remains inactive until mixed with water and naturally breaks down after use into just water and oxygen. In addition, both formulations include biodegradable corrosion inhibitors and biodegradable detergents, ensuring effective results with minimal environmental impact.

Due to the frequent need for clinical staff to disinfect their hands throughout the day, it is essential that the skin remains healthy and intact despite repeated exposure to high levels of alcohol. Bossklein B70gel includes plant-based Aloe Vera to actively hydrate the skin, along with naturally derived glycerine and Vitamin E. Its unique formula is dye-free, allergen-free, and hypoallergenic, delivering optimal disinfection performance without compromising skin integrity.

Bossklein makes extensive use of economical concentrated solutions across the majority of our infection control range. Many of our products feature low dilution ratios, such as 2% or 20 ml per litre, allowing a single 5-litre refill to produce up to 250 litres of high-performance disinfectant and cleaning solution. Because all dental and medical facilities have access to fresh, clean water, enabling end users to dilute their own solutions significantly reduces the volume of product that must be transported and stored. This, in turn, helps lower overall carbon emissions.
