DemeTECH PTFE sutures are sterile, non-absorbable, monofilament synthetic surgical sutures made from high-density polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). PTFE sutures are supplied undyed (white). PTFE sutures contain no coatings, dyes or additives.
They are specially designed for fragile tissue. The smooth surface of PTFE sutures reduces the risk of bacterial retention, irritation and infection.
