Product description

Sterile calcium alginate wound dressing that converts to a protective gel when in contact with wound exudate. It provides a micro-environment that facilitates wound healing. It may be applied to exuding lesions including leg ulcers, pressure areas, donor sites, and most other granulating wounds. It is also effective for the management of painful wounds when removal of other more traditional dressings causes unacceptable levels of pain or trauma. The interval between dressing changes will depend on the wound. heavily exuding wounds may need daily dressing initially but as the wound heals this could be extended.
