Step wedges are used for calibration of mammography, radiology and fluoroscopy machines and evaluation of techniques. The step wedges can be used to show machines are able to image different tissue thicknesses. Aluminium High Purity (96%)
The stairs continue with low variation in grey scale. 5 steps: 2.5, 3.5, 4.75, 7 & 9 mm.
